Accessibility statement for Operation Timpossible
Last updated: 16 August 2025

Our commitment
Operation Timpossible is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to continually improve accessibility as we develop the site.

What we have done
• Structured pages with meaningful headings and landmarks to support screen readers
• Provided text alternatives for non-text content where possible
• Aimed for sufficient colour contrast and readable font sizes
• Enabled keyboard navigation for menus and interactive elements
• Avoided conveying information by colour alone
• Ensured links are descriptive and make sense out of context
• Limited motion and parallax effects and avoided auto-playing media
• Tested on recent versions of major browsers and on mobile

How we test. We review accessibility using a combination of:
• Manual checks against WCAG 2.2 AA
• Keyboard-only navigation tests
• Screen reader spot-checks with NVDA and VoiceOver
• Automated checks using tools such as WAVE and Lighthouse

Known limitations. We are aware of the following issues and are working to address them:
• Some third-party widgets or embeds may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
• Older PDF or downloadable documents may not be fully tagged for accessibility.
• Some images may still need improved or expanded alternative text.

If you find a problem not listed above or think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please let us know.

Compatibility
This site should work with the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile. If you use older browsers or assistive technologies, some features may not work as expected.

What we are improving next
• Auditing and updating alternative text across all pages
• Converting legacy PDFs to accessible formats
• Further colour contrast refinements and focus indicators
• Additional user testing with assistive technologies
